What do we have in store for Taste of Grampian?

The Mitchells Dairy crew are getting geared up for a whole host of shenanigans on the weekend of the Queens Jubilee! On Saturday 2nd June we will be exhibiting at Taste of Grampian annual event which is a haven for all you foodies out there!

Taste of Grampian, is a popular one-day food and drink festival and a great day out for all the family. It brings together the best food and drinks products from Grampian in the north east of Scotland under one roof and offers you the chance to discover and sample all the delights that are made and produced right here on your doorstep!

It really is going to be a great event with great celebrity chefs and  food and drinks suppliers including our friends from Ola Oils, The Store Company and Berry Scrumptious. Celebrity chefs Ed Baines and Phil Vickery will also be at the event to offer tips and cooking advice.

We'd love for you to visit our stand to say hello and to see what treats we have on offer! Moooriel will be there dressed to impressed in her Jubilee inspired attire - you will be able to to have your photo taken with her for the chance of winning a Jubilee Mitchells hamper via our Facebook competition.
And the fun doesn't end there because we will also be running a great competition via our friends at I&K Motors stand! Watch this space for more details coming soon.

The event takes place at the Thainstone Centre, Inverurie and is a true celebration of the richness and diversity of Grampian's larder!

Mooriel's acting debut!

Mitchells beloved cow Mooriel is making her acting debut in the Flying Pigs production,Silence of the Bams at His Majesty’s Theatre Aberdeen from Wednesday October 12th until Saturday October 22nd. The theatre production will see our very own Mooriel making an appearance on stage.

It would appear that Mooriel is becoming a bit of a Diva. Flying Pig’s stage manager Keith Donaldson said "we’re taking good care of Moorial – she’s currently stabled in the basement of HMT, warm and dry, enjoying listening to Nigel Havers staring in Basket Case above her head". We are pleased to hear that she is enjoying herself and hope she 'breaks a leg'

The Flying Pigs theatre group's latest production has been described as having a 'darker tone than previous shows Desperate Fishwives and How to Look Good Glaikit'. You can catch Mooriel and all the cast of The Flying Pigs starting tonight. The show will continue on until the 22nd October.

For tickets to the show or for more information about the production please call 01224 641122.

We would love it for you to tell us if you go to the show and if you spot Mooriel on stage. Please let us know by commenting on our Facebook page.
